Highlights from the 2004 Convention

Hershey, Pennsylvania, November 5-7, 2004
"By All Means"

The 2004 Eastern Christian Convention was planned to encourage and equip all attendees to change their world. Once again we had a great line up of speakers, gifted worship team, insightful workshop leaders, and the attendees - well, you know how special they were because they were you.

Kyle Idleman (above, left) was the keynote speaker at the 2004 convention preaching on Friday and Saturday night. Kyle shares in the preaching responsibility for Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY.  he was able to draw on his experience and the lessons he's learned in life for messages that were both challenging and inspiring. Ken Meade (above, center), Ambassador for Christ and retired Senior Minister for the Church of Christ at Manor Woods in Rockville, MD., spoke on Saturday morning. Brent Foulke (above, right)  Minister for Christ's Church of the Capital District in Albany, NY. delivered our Sunday morning message.

The President of the 2004 convention was Jon Ulm who did a fantastic job developing and implementing the theme, "By All Means."

The Blueprint Seminar was well attended again this year. Rob Grandi did an excellent job with the Coffeehouse on Friday night and breakfast Saturday morning was great as always.

New this year there was a Children's Ministry Luncheon. The exhibit area was humming with activity throughout the convention. The hallways were filled with friends talking and visiting with one another.

The Teen Convention and the 2004 Bible Bowl was a big success this year. And the younger kids had lots of fun at the Children's Convention!
