Overview

We exist to inspire Christians toward a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ and excellence in leading His church.
The Eastern Christian Convention was born out of a desire to see Christians who were scattered across the Eastern United States connected at least once a year for fellowship, worship, and encouragement. Since 1967, conventions have been held in cities from Pittsburgh, PA to Hartford, CT and from Williamsburg, VA to Syracuse, NY. Like all conventions in our fellowship of churches, this convention has no delegates and makes no pronouncements – it is simply to promote the Gospel and encourage Christians. The convention is designed for families, with a full program of activities for children, teens and adults. There is even a fully staffed nursery for infants during all regular sessions and workshops. Leadership of the convention is elected by those who attend the conventions and all officers of the convention are unpaid men and women who volunteer their time to serve this good cause.
In November 2010 we changed our name to Eastern Christian Conference so it would better reflect the type of gathering we have.
