Greetings ECC Friends! I know you have many options of how to allocate your time. There are many family events, obligations, and opportunities which you can attend each month of the year. And, if your church is like ours, I know your local church has a full calendar. But I am hoping you have already reserved November 12-14 for the 2010 Eastern Christian Convention. I am convinced that if you will give us that weekend this Fall, your walk with God will be changed. The theme of the 2010 ECC is: It’s all About Jesus. We’ll be spending the weekend together being encouraged about our relationship with Jesus and our role in His kingdom. We’ll be reminded of how knowing Him should have an effect on every area of our lives. We will sing together, learn together, laugh together, and be challenged to work together. There will be excellent programming for every member of the family – from nursery to children to teens to adults. You won’t want to miss this! Let me give you a few specifics: Our main speakers for 2010 are much sought after across the country and internationally. Dr. Ajai Lall, founder of Central India Christian Mission in Damoh, India and Jeff Walling, pastor of the Providence Road Church of Christ in Charlotte, North Carolina will be addressing our main sessions. Special guest: Professional musician Hanneke Cassel will be joining us for a special concert on Saturday evening. Meaningful workshops, excellent worship services, and serendipitous times of fellowship await you in Hershey. I hope you’ll begin your 2010 ECC plans by reserving your housing today. If you are a regular attender of the ECC – you know it’s important to register for housing early. Maybe it’s been a little while since you came to the ECC.
