Teen Conference

TEEN CONFERENCE 2011

Wouldn’t it be nice to be?  To have a do-over?  To be able to start again.  And even better, to be able to do it with the knowledge that you actually ARE something… NEW!  For this year’s Student Conference we’re going to be looking at the difference that Jesus can really make in a life.  In the life of a teen.  Then talk about what that difference will look like when it interacts with the world.  This is ‘NEW.’

Jason Polowchak

Director of Youth and Student Ministries – Willowbrook Christian Church, Victor, NY      

After a severe pinky injury forced him to retire from a lucrative career as a professional Duck, Duck Goose player, Jason decided to give Youth Ministry a try.    He loves Salvatroe’s pizza, pineapple upside down cake, the Dallas Cowboys, New Jersey Devils, Boston Red Sox (a love he shares with his kids), Dodgeball, Star Wars, and singing Neil Diamond songs really, really loud.  He loves hanging out with kids and helping them see how Jesus can change their lives.

“TRUE NORTH”

Our band for the weekend is the student worship band for True North Church in Port Jefferson, NY.  Their band name, oddly enough is True North, and they’re great.  After leading worship for Exponential Conference and Reverb Conference we’re excited to have True North lead for ECC’s Student Conference.
